PSY' s "Gangnam Style" Horse Dance: He Spent 30 Nights - Idolator

PSY spoke at Oxford University on Wednesday (November 7) and revealed some of the secrets behind his world-conquering smash ?Gangnam Style.? Addressing the vaunted Oxford Union debating society, PSY explained that perfecting the now-viral song and dance was a laborious process (like any work of genius, we suppose). ?I stayed up for 30 nights to find that horse-riding dance,? the Korean pop star said, according to?NME. ?I tried every creature: elephant, monkey, kangaroo, snake. The kangaroo hopping was too slow, so we ended up imitating a horse.?

Could you imagine, an alternate universe where ?Gangnam Style? takes place not in a stable, but in a?place where they keep elephants? And instead of riding an invisible horse, the world were swept up in throwing back an invisible trunk or flapping giant, invisible ears? Also, PSY said his next single will be a mix of Korean and English, ?so maybe you will understand the lyrics more.? Listen, PSY ? that?s valiant and all, but we?ll gladly eschew comprehension if it means we?ll get a visual of one of your scrapped animal dances.
