It's been awhile since I last posted here, but I thought it would be fun to come here to bring up an idea I've had for awhile, that some friends and I are planning on doing. A roleplay Weekly Podcast! It'll be a comedy podcast, that's goal is to take the concept of roleplay, and twist it into something humorous by doing weird, wacky things, being random, and just having a roleplay with little to no rules, that's all done verbally. We'll have everything from a roleplay in which you accidentally turn into a six foot tallk Sonic the Hedgehog Smurf, to a roleplay where a little girl is trying to kill you, and you're saved by giant raging pedophiles. Except you're also 4 years old yourself, so that's double danger.
As sonic, one of your powers is "Gotta Go ______________" Where you may use it, and have a random fast action happen, normally sounding similar to fast.
The podcast is going to be a little vulgar though, and some of it is going to revolve around sex or sexuality, so if you can't handle that then this won't be for you.
The roleplays will sometimes be continued the next week, or after a few weeks of other things, and every now and again we'll have segments that are silly, RP related things, such as reading out crappy 'Choose your own adventures', and just breaking from the roleplay now and again for some OOC talk, when we get off track for a little, and just talk.
So yeah, that's the podcast idea. But now here's where it gets a little bit more technical. We're looking for people who would want to be guests on the podcast, joining in every now and again to roleplay with us. We'll need to get to know you a bit beforehand, so that it's more relaxed when you join, but me and my friends are looking for guests.
As well, we'll need some people who are willing to help with things like possibly getting a website, or hosting off another sight, and even recording and editing. Right now, we're looking for programs and websites like Libsyn that would help us host a podcast.
Lastly, we just need listeners! If you think the podcast sounds interesting, then start listening once it's up and running, and we have a link up!
