Class times are 7-9 p.m. on week nights and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Saturday sessions. Register by Sept. 5 to receive course materials prior to the class.
Designed for both experienced and novice boaters, the course will cover topics including boating emergencies, know your boat, getting underway, navigating the waterways, operating your boat safely, legal requirements, weather, lines and knots, radio communications and more. The fee is $50, with a $5 discount each for two or more signing up at the same time.
Florida Boater Safety Certification Cards are given to individuals who successfully complete the course.
