How to become a home-buyers ?and what you need to know.
2012 is?a very good year to buy a home.? It?s going to take more effort and commitment on the part of all Realtors and their buying clients ?to make it so. Something important to remember ?as a home buyer is?don?t make an offer if you don?t want to buy that house.

The number one challenge facing Realtor I believe is the bringing back into the market the buyers who seemed to have abandoned it.? Why are there so few buyers even though this is the best buyer?s market in many years?? There are a ton of reasons. ?It?boils down to one main underlining theme though?FEAR.
FEAR, as my friend Joe Stumpf would say, is False Expectations Appearing Real. This mean the reasons for buyer?s fears are in reality unfounded and false. ?The job of their Realtor and/or Lender to show?buyers how beneficial home ownership will be for them.
A list I have put together may be of help to home buyers and Realtors who are?pro-active in helping ?themselves see why they will benefit with the?purchase of the biggest investment they will ever make.
Here?s my list.? Can you add to it?
- Shelter.? First and foremost a home is a basic human need?shelter
- Tax Shelter. There are tax saving due to homeowner interest tax write-offs. Those numbers need preview?with each offer written.
- Stability. In my market place rents went up over 12% in 2011.? 2012 rents forecast?to rise another 10%. With a 30 year fixed mortgage home buyers have?fixed mortgage costs for the next 30 years! Rents have not peaked. They will not come down and will keep?going higher because they have been unusually low and below market rate since the end of the 1980?s. Higher rents are here to stay.
- Self Worth. When I ask a client what is most important about buying a home it usually gets down being loved and appreciated.? And isn?t that what we all want?? To be loved and appreciated? ?Home ownership provides this for us.
That is my list of reasons why buyer need help to gain clarity on what is in there best interest.? Not only for them but their family too.
I urge everyone ?who is thinking of purchasing a home in 2012 to allow yourself to rid themselves of the silent killer of peace of mind?FEAR. ?At your next IRS Tax filing you will be glad you did.
