Video: Harbaugh brothers discuss Super Bowl faceoff

>>> the words "sibling rival rery" have taken on a new meaning when john and jim harbaugh are playing in the super bowl , the world's biggest stage. they talked to the media together. jenna's at the superdome with more. good morning.

>> reporter: hey, good morning. they're brothers first and coaches second love this sunday that line may be blurred a little bit. it's great. they used to share a bedroom when they were kids. yesterday, they actually shared the spotlight. it was an unprecedented event. the two coaches sat side by side . john in the suit and tie , jim only 15 months his junior, went with a more casual look. they have very different personalities, the two of them. while they spent the last two weeks deflecting questions with each other, it turns out there is one member of the harbaugh family they were more than happy to talk about -- mom.

>> there's nobody in the family that has more competitive fire than my mother. she competes like a plane ymaniac. i learned, number one, that is that. she always believed in us. i think that's the most important thing to me.

>> reporter: afterwards actually they talked a little bit about the family. it was really cute. they snapped this great picture with their grandpa, joe. there's a whole family tree going on here. was really nice for the media to see how close a family they are. they snapped a picture with the lombardi trophy which one of them is very much hoping to be holding tomorrow night after super bowl xlvii . it's an underlying story to football, but it is a fun, endearing story we've been following. parents are having a hard time figuring out who to root for. they'll rooted for both. it's good, it's fun. people are talking about it.

>> they just root for a harbaugh , right?

>> reporter: you can't lose if you root for a harbaugh , am i right?

>> it is. a great story. i love that grandpa was in on the action, too.

>> reporter: parents are there, grandpa's there, kids are there. it's -- who cares about us? the harbaughs are going to come watch the game on sunday.
